I cannot believe it is already Christmas day? Where has this year gone? I hope you are all well and enjoying your wonderful day with family and friends. We had a great day, opened presents, ate candy and had our turkey dinner!! Here are some pics from our day.
to decorate that is. LOL!! I LOVE this time of year and I just love decorating for it. I hate having to take it all down as the house looks so bare. Walter was so nice to let me add another tree this year (yes I have a slight issue with wanting lots of trees) to our rec room. I wanted it to be all red and white ornaments and I am happy with how it turned out. So here are some pics into the world of my tree obsessed holiday home.
that I have a serious addiction to buying furniture. LOL!! Poor Walter, he is being so patient with me and my fetish of wanting new furniture. Here is some pics of my new dining room table. The hutch is coming later as my new family sofa and love seat are back ordered and it was with that order. The folks at Ashley Furniture have really gotten to know me this year!!
yo garland!! I had some fun with some red and white Christmas fabrics. I saw a yo yo garland in a magazine and had to make me one. I wanted a red & white Christmas tree for our rec room and figured I needed a matching garland for the fireplace. It was supper easy to do and I am happy with the way it turned out.
I can finally, finally say we are no longer home owners!!! Yep I am excited about not owning a home. When we found out 3 years ago that we had orders to the East Coast we put our house on the market in Eastern Washington state. We thought we had a buyer, turned out to be a scam and a tenant from, well you know where. After 2 horrible tenants, 1 good tenant, many months of frustration, 1 awesome, patient and incredibly helpful Real Estate Agent (Thank you so much Wendi!!!) we can finally say that the house is sold!!! We closed this last week, it funded and we are all done!!! It was a great house, with lots of wonderful memories but I am glad this chapter in our life is complete.
We are the Bennett Family. We live on the East Coast thanks to the Air Force. We have been married 21 years and 3 children we were blessed to be able to adopt after struggling with infertility for many years.I am a digital scrapbook designer and sell my products at Sweet Shoppe Designs and Sugar Hill Co.
